How Does LOAFD Calm My Cat?
LOAFD releases a synthetic version of the pheromones cats naturally produce when they feel safe and content. These calming signals help reduce behaviours linked to anxiety, like scratching, spraying, hiding, and tension in multi-cat homes. This creates a calmer cat, a more peaceful home, and a stronger bond between you and your cat.
How long will it take to see results?
Many cat owners notice a difference within the first month, but it can take up to 3 months for full effect, especially in multi-cat households or more anxious cats.
How many LOAFD diffusers do I need?
We recommend one diffuser per every 70m² of space, which is roughly the size of a typical two bedroom UK home. If your home has more than 2 bedrooms (over 70m²), we suggest using two or more diffusers for the best results.
How do I order multiple free LOAFD diffusers and refills?
Just increase the quantity to your desired number, before clicking Add To Basket. Further amends can be made on the cart page.
What if I have more than one cat?
LOAFD is ideal for multi-cat homes. If you have more than one cat, we often recommend using at least two diffusers, especially in larger homes. This helps reduce tension, supports harmony between cats, and creates a more peaceful, relaxed environment for everyone.
Is LOAFD safe for my cat?
Yes, LOAFD is safe for all cats when used as directed. It’s non-medicated, odourless, and vet-recommended.
Is LOAFD safe around other pets and humans?
Yes. LOAFD is cat specific, so only cats can detect the pheromone. It has no effect on dogs or humans.
How long does each LOAFD refill last?
Each refill lasts approximately 30 days when used continuously. We recommend keeping it plugged in at all times for best results. Don't worry though, it uses less electricity than a TV on standby.
Where’s the best place to plug in my LOAFD diffuser?
Plug LOAFD into a socket in the room your cat spends the most time. Avoid placing it behind furniture or near open windows, as airflow can affect how the pheromones disperse.
Where should I not plug in my LOAFD diffuser?
Avoid plugging it in behind curtains, under shelves, or in areas with poor air circulation. Don’t use it with extension cords, multi-plug adaptors, or in vertical sockets.
Should I ever unplug my LOAFD diffuser?
No. For consistent results, keep the diffuser plugged in 24/7. If unplugged, your cat will stop receiving the calming effects.

When will my next LOAFD refill arrive?
Refills are shipped monthly, so they arrive 1 month after your previous refill was delivered. Login to your LOAFD account and head to the Manage section to view your upcoming orders.
Can I track my LOAFD order?
Yes. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.
What if my LOAFD order hasn't arrived?
If your order is late or missing, please email us at team@getloafd.com and we’ll sort it right away.
What Is the LOAFD Returns Policy?
We hope you and your cat love LOAFD, but if something’s not right, we’re here to help. You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Please note: for safety and hygiene reasons, we’re unable to accept returns of any opened products. Delivery fees are non-refundable.

How much does LOAFD cost?
For the first 1,000 customers, your first LOAFD diffuser is completely free (normally £9.99), refills are just £9.99 per month (normally £14.99), and shipping is added at checkout (usually just £2.99 depending on your location).
When will I be charged for LOAFD?
You’ll pay £9.99 plus shipping for your first order. Your next payment of £9.99 plus shipping will be charged one month later, when your next refill is sent.
How do I change my LOAFD delivery address?
